About this console table
Narrow hallways and small entryways are hard to furnish. Most tables stick out too far and get in the way. The Phil console solves that with a slim 12-inch depth, so it hugs the wall and leaves plenty of room to walk past. The matte black metal frame gives it a clean, modern, slightly industrial edge, and the light wood-finish top keeps it warm, not cold. It's the right height for keys, a small lamp, a plant or a tray, and it looks sharp beneath a round mirror, as shown. Beyond the entryway, it works behind a sofa, along a landing, under a wall-mounted TV or as a compact desk in a small flat.
